Holy Eid-ul-Azha is on 1st August

The moon of Jilhaj month could not be seen in the sky of Bangladesh. As a result, Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated in Bangladesh on August 1. Jilhaj will start next Thursday as the moon is not seen today.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the moon sighting committee on Tuesday.
