Less sleep can lead to stroke

Sleeping less every day, knowing what could be harming. Researchers say that sleeping for less than 6 hours for a long time causes multiple damage to the body. If it continues all the time, it will affect human life expectancy.

They claim that sleeping for 8 hours or less over a long period of time increases the risk of developing diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity and high cholesterol. Researchers say that sleeping less than 6 hours or waking up repeatedly can lead to the formation of a kind of fatty wall in the arteries.

Obstruction of blood flow as a result of arterial wall formation can lead to stroke, digestive problems, obesity, pain and even heart disease.

This was stated in a recent study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

Jose Ordovas, head of the research team, said that less sleep is not directly on the heart, but rather contributes to atherosclerosis in the body.

For the study, the team surveyed 4,000 men and women in Spain, each with an average age of 48. None of them had a history of heart disease. Before going to bed at night, a small device called an artigraph is attached to each of them, which collects information about the length of each sleep and the nature of sleep. The survey was conducted on them for seven consecutive nights. Information is also collected on who wakes up in sleep or how they move.
